Bomi Warranty

As a purveyor of fine jewelry, we stand behind the quality of every piece we sell. All of our jewelry comes with a one year warranty. Our service is fast and friendly, and we are glad to help! We also cover all of our pieces with a Lifetime Warranty against defects in craftsmanship or manufacturing.* We want you to be happy with all of your Bomi purchases, so if you're having any issues, please don't hesitate to stop by.

Ring sizing is free for new purchases. If we get your size wrong, we will resize it again for no charge! After one month, subsequent sizings will be charged.

Stop by any time for a free cleaning and inspection of your jewelry. We will gladly check your jewelry for damage, wear and tear, and needed maintenance - even if it's not from us! We recommend most jewelry be checked every six months.

*All warranties are for the benefit of the purchaser and are not assignable. We do not cover wear and tear, damage, loss, or theft. If you would like these issues to be covered, we suggest having your jewelry insured. Jewelers Mutual is a jewelry insurance company we recommend to our clients, or else you can make your jewelry part of your homeowners or renters insurance.

Layaway

Bomi offers a free layaway program for in-stock items. You may put in-stock jewelry or diamonds on layaway for up to 6 months, with a minimum 15% downpayment. There are no fees or interest, and you may take your jewelery home once it is paid off.

Layaway is not available for special orders, custom work, or repairs. At this time, we do not offer financing.

If you put an item on layaway and fail to complete the purchase, or do not return, your item may be returned to stock, and you will be issued store credit for any payments made.

Return Policy

Bomi offers a full money back return policy on most purchases with 30 days of the original purchase date. The merchandise must be returned in undamaged condition, with its original box and documentation.

Special orders, custom orders, and pieces that have been modified are not returnable.

Refunds can only be made to the original payment method. If you do not have access to this payment method (for example, if you are returning a gift), then you will receive a store credit. Credits do not expire.

Large purchases paid in cash may be refunded via check.

We do not cover return shipping, unless you are sending your jewelry for a warranty issue.

Upgrade/ Trade-In Policy

Bomi Jewelers offers an upgrade policy for our certified natural diamonds, and our natural diamond stud earrings. If you have purchased these items from Bomi, you may trade them in for your full purchase value towards a more expensive item in the same category.**

**Certified natural diamonds may only be traded in towards a more expensive certified diamond, and natural diamond stud earrings may only be traded towards a more expensive pair of natural diamond stud earrings. Lab grown diamonds are not eligible for trade, and fancy shape (non-round) diamond stud earrings are not eligible for trade. If you have paperwork for your trade in, especially a GIA certificate, you must turn this in along with your trade. If you have lost your certificate, the cost of a new certificate will be deducted from your trade value. In some cases, your trade in value may be adjusted to reflect current market value. Trade ins of fancy shape certified diamonds are subject to current demand. Trade ins of non-Bomi purchases may be accepted on a case by case basis, with your natural diamond certificate. Purchases involving a trade are not eligible for any additional discounts. One trade per transaction. We do not accept gemstones, finished jewelry, or any categories other than certified natural diamonds or natural diamond stud earrings as trades. Gold or platinum may be sold or traded for a scrap value.

Selling

Bomi does not guarantee that we will buy or buy back anything. Each item is subject to a case by case evaluation and value, even if it was purchased from Bomi. Please call ahead to check if we are interested in what you would like to sell, and bring any relevant paperwork you may have, if so.

Bomi may be interested in larger, round brilliant cut, natural diamonds. Fancy cuts are subject to current demand. We do not buy gemstones or pearls over the counter. We do not sell estate or used jewelry, so we will not buy finished jewelry, except for a scrap value. We do not sell watches, so we will only purchase gold or platinum watches for a scrap value.

We will purchase or trade gold or platinum, for a current scrap value. We will not purchase silver.

Most new items may be returned within 30 days.

We reserve the right to decline to purchase anything at any time.

Shipping

As a service to our customers, we offer free 2-Day shipping with most purchases. This typically arrives in 2-3 business days. 1-Day shipping is also available.

Please note, due to the recent state of our postal systems, as of 2021, Bomi can ONLY ship to a business address, or to your local FedEx location for pickup. This is to keep your shipments secure, and insured.

All Bomi shipments are insured, with some special cases over $100,000.

Shipping Rates by Purchase or Repair Price:
Under $500: $25 FedEx 2-Day shipping, or $60 FedEx 1-Day shipping. Optional signature.
$501 - 999: Free FedEx 2-Day shipping, or $40 FedEx 1-Day shipping. Optional signature.
$1000- 9,999: Free FedEx 2-Day or free FedEx 1-Day shipping. Signature recommended.
$10,000+: Free FedEx shipping. Signature required.

2-Day is not available for values over $10,000.

Website purchases include free 2-Day shipping. For Express or International shipping, please call us at (716) 839-4300, and we will do our best to accomodate you. The above rates apply to all shipments, including repairs. For insurance reasons, any piece with a value over $10,000 must be shipped Express with signature.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the sender, unless you are sending your jewelry for a warranty related issue.
